Wildflower Seedball Tin - Bee Mix

Wildflowers that bees will just love! This carefully selected seed mix is designed to attract honey bees, bumblebees and solitary bees (such as mason bees and mining bees), helping to support the biodiversity and ecosystem of your garden.

Each tin contains 20 seed balls, each with approximately 30 bee-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram. We’ve also added a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn marigold, and Night-flowering catchfly. These make for a lovely eco-friendly gardening gift, bee and butterfly present and they’re the perfect sustainable gift for nature lovers. They will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens.

It’s time to rewild! One tin of seed bombs will cover 1 square metre in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.

All seed balls are made in the UK containing a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and the seeds start to sprout. 

The mix includes the following super wildlife-friendly flowers, all recommended as bee-friendly plants by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust:
