A tube bursting with common poppy seeds. A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden. Poppies are also a big favourite of ours for window boxes or for other small growing spaces.
Each tube contains 20 Seedballs which will provide coverage for 1 square metre in a garden, or 3-5 medium sized pots. Each ball contains around 100 seeds. Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
All seed balls are made in the UK containing a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and the seeds start to sprout.
